Hand Lettering

Hand lettering is a powerful and visually impactful means of expression. By using pen or pencil I draw the letter forms in freehand and then scan the art and trace over it in illustrator. Of course sometimes to give a more fluid effect, the letter forms are imported into Photoshop and minimally retouched. From baseball and softball bat brands to store identity and product brands, I have applied my hand lettering skills in the samples displayed to create a unique and memorable presence.
