Consumers buy products instinctively rather than making a rational informed decision. This is proven through eye tracking studies that show consumers read on a average only 7 words in an entire shopping trip. To grab the consumers attention the brand has to trigger an emotional response.
For me an ideal package has to have a sharp stand out logo, be simple in its color scheme, trigger an emotional engagement, remain easily recognizable and most of all it should have some form of iconic asset. From food, beverage and household products to computer games and sporting goods, I have covered a wide variety of successful commercial packaging projects for my clients.
